How We Make It
What we can tell you about our formulas, and — just as importantly — what we cannot yet.
Supplements are not medicines
In the United States, dietary supplements are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration before they go on sale. No regulator has reviewed or endorsed anything we sell. Nothing on this site has been evaluated by the FDA, and none of our products is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Any brand that implies otherwise is telling you something untrue about how the category works. We would rather you knew how it actually works.
Read the panel, not the promise
The useful part of any supplement is the supplement facts panel: the serving size, the amount of each active ingredient per serving, and the full ingredient list including the things that are not active. That panel is on every bottle we ship. Compare it against whatever else you are considering — a formula that hides its doses behind a 'proprietary blend' is hiding them from you too.
What we are still working on
We are not where we want to be on this. The complete supplement facts panel and ingredient list are on the physical label, but they are not yet reproduced on every product page on this site. That is our gap to close, and we are closing it.
Until it is closed: if you need the full panel, the allergen information or the sourcing for a specific product before you buy it, email [email protected] naming the product and we will send it to you. We would rather answer a hundred of those emails than have you buy something you cannot see the label for.
Before you start anything
Follow the serving size on the label — more is not better, and several of these ingredients have a ceiling. Talk to your own doctor or pharmacist before beginning any supplement, and especially if you are pregnant or nursing, giving something to a child, taking prescription medication, or living with a diagnosed condition. Supplements interact with medicines more often than people expect.
